Now I've seen this recall before on 90",91" PTU recalls, but some how after two years, I've seemed to have spaced it off. See like all Z's ( most anyway ) my car hesitates in 1st everytime with out a doubt. Not to say this is the problem, but I read and read on this. So I've cleaned the TB's, replace all sparkplugs, replace altenator ( went bad ), gel cell battery w/ gold terminals :), did the duct tape on the POP test, and nothing really big happened. So I seen a post three pages back on cost of PTU and Coz said list was like $215 or so, And the post under that was from Gage about the recall on 91"s. So anyway, I call Nissan today ( Nissan USA that is ) and sure enough, my car was never done. So next week it goes in for some FREE REPAIRS, God I love to say that,,,,,LOL. So please be the answer to that hes problem,,,it really,really sucks trying to get a good take off and I'm idling at 25-3k rpms, let out the clutch and the rpms drop way down then shoot up again. Now look at my profile on some modds I've done to help for quick take offs, plus the little ones mention above..... So since most Z's where sold in 90"91" theirs got to be some more out their, plus all you knew Z owners, should check just to make sure on any Z recall item, you'll sleep better at night......... :)
